The Cowgirls by Curated Stays: No Cleaning Fee

3 Bedrooms • 2 Bathrooms 2 Baths • Sleeps 5-8The Cowgirls is probably our most popular home. Maybe it's the two king beds or perhaps the gas fireplace that puts off tons of heat. The screened-in back patio is nice as is the front porch with veranda. All the rooms are uniquely decorated and the master bedroom receives wonderful, natural light all day long with its southern exposure. Cowgirls has hard surface floors throughout so we got to use some of our favorite rugs in this three-bedroom home. It's very near the Expo Center and airport. Please contact us for a video tour of the property.

Deirdre is a transplant to Texas and Jeff is a native. We remodeled this home ourselves and treasure each part of it. We enjoy sharing it with travelers who also appreciate the little details and a comfortable, luxurious stay. After living in Dallas for a dozen years (and suffering years of one-way, hour-long commutes) upon our move to Abilene we decided to live in an area as centrally located as possible: we wanted to be close to everything. We love our neighborhood because it is established, safe, and has trees. MANY, many pecan trees. Come in the season and you can pick up fresh pecans off of the street. Deirdre works from home as an online Latin instructor. When not teaching she usually has her headphones on and is listening to an audio book or podcast while in and about the house. Weekends will find her with her friends scavenging estate sales and tag sales for treasures. Jeff is usually downtown where he serves as the Executive Director of Frontier Texas, a local history museum. Our four children have flown the coop. Three sons live in Moscow, Idaho and attend or have matriculated from New Saint Andrews College. Our daughter and husband live in Phoenix, AZ. Deirdre visits them as frequently as possible.Location
